Working with Leveling the Playing Field allows prospective applicants to utilize the following professional development tools:
- Public Speaking – You will have numerous opportunities to present our mission to various groups in our warehouse and within the community.
- Volunteer Coordination – You will gain valuable experience coordinating and managing both small and large volunteer groups.
- Community Engagement – Our success is predicated on our ability to conduct strategic outreach. Working with us will give you the valuable tools to conduct effective outreach.
- Fundraising – If you are looking to write your first grant or make your first “ask”, this will be an amazing opportunity to sharpen those skills.
Leveling the Playing Field is a small nonprofit that relies on our dedicated staff, interns, and volunteers to positively impact our communities every day. As a result, working with our team allows you to gain exposure to the skills required to run a successful community non-profit organization.
