Born and raised in the Great Lakes State, Catie holds a B.A. from Michigan State University, and an MSW from the University of Michigan. She completed a year of national service as a Team Leader with AmeriCorps NCCC, based out of Sacramento, CA. With almost ten years of nonprofit experience in the city, Catie joined the team in 2024 to launch LPF Detroit as the Program Director. Her passion for service has always guided her career, and she has a wealth of nonprofit experience including working in a Detroit Public School, responding to a natural disaster relief site, working with sex trafficking survivors, and leading international service trips. In her free time, Catie enjoys playing recreational soccer, ice hockey, and running.
